15 Dec 2007: Lisbon St. Antonys 14-1 St. Johns (HT 7-1) – League Match

Today we played our final game of this year against St Johns, and a win today would put Lisbon back at the top of the league table for the first time this season.
Laura and Frankie were our first half subs today, with Hanaan, Bethany and Aphra starting at the back. We played Fred on the left wing today and she played a major part in a lot of the Lisbon attacks, without actually scoring from that position.
Hanifa scored first today with Jess getting the first assist 1-0, then Lucy doubled the lead after 6 minutes with an assist from Hanifa, 2-0. Jess was next to get on the score sheet, scoring 3 goals in 14 minutes, (HATRICK) with assists from Fred, Finney & Hanifa 5-0.
Hanifa then scored goal number 6, with another assist from Fred 6-0. St Johns then got on the score sheet after a quick counter attacking move 6-1. The final goal of the half was scored once again by Hanifa, (HATRICK)with Jess getting the assist.
Lisbon played extremely well today in the first half , and Robyn, Finney and especially Hanaan were extremely unlucky not to get on the score sheet.

HALF TIME 7-1
For the second half Beth and Hanaan made way for Laura and Frankie, and little Whitby went in goal for Ria. Fred scored first in the second half with another assist from Hanifa 8-1, and then Ria popped up with 2 goals in 3 minutes, with guess who? Hanifa providing both assists 10-1.
Robyn then took Whitby’s place in goal before Fred scored her second goal of the game with an assist from Finney, 11-1.
Fred then scored her final goal of the game (HATRICK) with a rare assist from Aphra 12-1.
After swapping Lucy for Robyn in goal, Ria then scored the final 2 goals of the game (4 GOALS) with little Whitby providing both assists
