Today we played our first friendly cup match, and our opponents were once again Altrincham FC. Considering the great track record we have against Altrincham, we decided to start with Fred in net and give Ria a starting place upfront.
This turned out to be a great decision as Ria scored a hat-trick in the first nine minutes, with assists from Aphra, Lucy and Hanifa 3-0. Ria was next to score again, this time Whitby provided the assist 4-0,Lucy made it 5-0 with an assist from Finney, and we had only played 25 minutes. With 33 minutes on the clock Ria scored once again to make it 6-0, with another assist from Finney, Altringham did manage to score one goal in the first half with a rare attacking move 6-1

For the 2nd half Ria went back in net and Jess and Fred went upfront to spearhead the Lisbon attack. It only took 1 minute for Fred to get on the score sheet with an assist from Whitby 7-1, and 7 minutes later Fred got her 2nd goal of the game with an assist from Hanifa 8-1. A brilliant individual goal from Hanifa made it 9-1, and 2 minutes later Fred completed her hat-trick with an assist from Jess 10-1. Then on 68 minutes Jess decided it was her turn to score next, and after winning the ball of an Altringham defender calmly slotted home 11-1. Four minutes later Jess scored her 2nd goal of the game with an assist from Hanifa 12-1. With Lucy having a quiet game in front of goal we decided to swap Lucy for Ria in goal, and give Ria the final 20 minutes upfront, and 3 minutes later Ria scored her 6th goal of the game (double hat-trick) with an assist from Fred 13-1. The final goal of the game was scored by Jess (hat-trick), with Fred claiming the final assist 14-1.
Once again the Lisbon team showed just how deadly they are in front of goal, with four hatricks in one game. Our defenders are always solid and hard to beat for pace and determination to win that ball, another good solid team performance, well done
