12 May 2007: Stalybridge 3-2 Lisbon St Antonys (HT ?-?)

Tsk. The girls lost the Challenge Cup final 3-2 to Stalybridge! I’m guessing but I suspect overconfidence and the ensuing lack of concentration led to loss of position at critical moments (see coach’s warning in the Poynton game), and Stalybridge had nothing to lose as underdogs so played well. (And who was their mystery 12^th player of the day in black that I’ve heard about?)

Taken this opportunity to add in some reports I’ve been given – for the 17^th and 31^st March, 14^th and 21^st April. Match reports for the Rochdale friendly and both finals to be added later.

The last final is on the 20^th May – GO GO GO LISBON!!
